Food inspectors check the kitchen of a restaurant which is listed on Deliveroo

Developed and co-wrote investigation of Deliveroo and Just Eat's hygiene standards. This story aired on 26 June on BBC News at Six, Ten and BBC News online.

Twitter bot: European Parliament Elections

A bot that tweeted regional results for the UK, as well as national results for all 28 member states, to @BBCElection on 27 May 2019. Developed bespoke code and reusable library using Python.

Twitter bot: UK Local Elections

Developed a bespoke Twitter bot using Python that tweeted the results of UK local elections, held on 4 May 2019, to @BBCElection.

Older Work

Before I joined the data team, I worked as a software engineer on the new pan-BBC article and Psammead library of React components. Previous to that, I was a grad software engineer in teams across the BBC like iPlayer Radio (now BBC Sounds), CPS (content management systems) and Visual Journalism.
